As my bike was only a year old and 4500 miles when I got it, the factory installed seal was toast on the factory installed pump and the pump made knocking sounds. I just installed the new pump as specified by OLAF and so far everything is peachy. Guess I'll wait a year and see! I called the jabsco dealer for Canada and was told there have been some seals problems in Australia because of an antifreeze supplier using a differant additives. Volvo was mentioned as one of the vehicles using the product. I told him I was using the green antifreeze . Forgot to ask whether the antifreeze they are having problems with was the pink stuff. He is sending me a new seal. One with a harder rubber is in the works and available in the next few months. Harder rubber was his words , not mine .
