Crusin Dave or Adrian, I had no idea I would be buying a trike at the rally, but **** happens. Now I want to be able to have the body tilt up like yours so a guy can work and clean stuff. Where do I begin or if there's another post that tells the story, point me in the direction. I guess I should have looked closer when I was there!! (Norwegian, takes us awhile ya know!) Dave, you have no idea how close I was to buying your trike. What a cherry machine you have put together as well as Adrian's (wife's trike also). Speaking of Adrian, you are at the top of my list for favorite people for taking a picture of Barb and I, laminating it and passing it on, hats off to ya....your special in our hearts for your generosity...many thanks!!!!
Looking forward to everyone coming to the La Crosse, Wis get together. Except maybe Badboy Grumpy....guess he's gettin' old or sompthung..he was saying resting after Sturgis, wasn't sure he could make it, suppose we could chip in and send a hearse up there and bring him down...yuk..yuk!!!! Met several people on my way home from Indiana that said they were coming also...Yahooooooeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!! Steve

Steve,
Email me for details on the tilt kit. I also promised to send pics of the hinges, etc. to Wayne in Indy, but I need to shoot new pics as the ones I have are pretty poor. I had another trike owner ask me at the rally if I would make the parts for him, but I declined. Reason is that there are probably no two trike bodies exactly alike and there are some differences in the rear subframe from 2002 -2003. Basically, the best way to make sure the hinges are designed correctly is to build them to fit each bike.

I can shed more light via email and pics.

OK guys, here's what I'm gonna do...I'll write up some basic tips and instructions tomorrow in Word so that it is easier to distribute. Keep in mind that this is a custom fabrication project that will require metal working tools and skills.

If you are interested, please send me a private email so I can respond directly. Thanks! :D

Steve,

Okay, I'll play a little less in Sturgis this year just so I can make Lacrosse

We'll probably ride down Saturday morning and just spend the night. Enough to get you into one of the local watering hole :D

Enjoy your wifes new toy, and keep the dirty side down okay??

Tim
