Is anyone using these things? Steve in Ft Myers swears they had HP & improved performance, while using lower rated octaine gasoline.
As the name suggests, the units actually drop directly into the fuel tank. After a Fitch ® Fuel Catalyst is installed, the engine will almost immediately experience a cleaning of the fuel system. In a short time, there will be a noticeable increase in power and performance, and the engine will start easier, run smoother and last longer.

I have ordered a packette to test out!

Fitch ® Fuel Catalyst

Bill,
I just dropped 2 of the *-5 units in the tank about 1 week ago. I can tell you I have not noticed any significant improvement, however I have only been doing "around-town" riding so far.

snydog wrote" Found an easy way to improve gas mileage that you might be interested in hearing about. Just drop a couple of Fitch Fuel Catalysts into your gas tank and you should get a couple of extra mpgs right away. These things also have some other nice benefits like increased hp, no more need for Stabil when storing the Boss, and faster, easier starts for carb Bosses. The best I saved for last...no more need to run 93 octane. My 01 SB runs like a burgler on 89. These things last forever and cost $49.95 for two F5 drop in units. Guy at Fitch was very familiar with the Boss and suggested four units...he said you can't overtreat the gas. I put 2 in when I got the bike in 2001 and have averaged about 27mpg. I just bought 2 more and will let you know the results. Check out Fitchfuelcatalyst.com. Very cool product."

Anybody get Motorcycle Consumer News? If you do, and have the Nov. 2001 issue, there is a review of the Fitch Fuel Catalyst. If memory serves me (which most of the time it doesn't) they weren't too excited about it.
If I can find the issue, I'll try to post the article.

Fitch Catalyst

Haven't checked mileage yet, but since adding the additional catalysts I have noticed the bike fires up much faster. I certainly don't want to sound like a schill for these people, but if you go to the web site and read what other bikers are saying you may be impressed....also reading the science behind gasoline properties. You will find other bikers who have experienced some or all of the benefits I previously mentioned. If it's all bogus, someone came up with some pretty creative copy. Anyway, I feel better about putting the money in the tank instead of some chrome dodad. Steve
