Man, we just got the word that August '04 was the coldest in history in St. Cloud...........but you boys in Florida have got to be thinking a little cold but dry Minnesota weather would be great right about now. 8)

Was just looking at the projected path of the next storm and it really doesn't look good.

Hope you all get battened down and get through this one safely. :capwin:

Batten Down

Well, I'm doing both. "Stuff's" battened down, got the family away this AM, and am following tonight. Had to help evac an ICU @ Cape Canaveral Hosp before we bugged the heli away @ 1630ish. Cross your fingers for us, looks like a Hell of a Blow. Hope the south west side guys get left alone this time. They've done theres'!

DAMN!!!.......Just got back to Fl. from a nice week on The BlueRidge and the Smokies to another Hurricane on the way.....Can't wait till I get transfered to Texas in 3 weeks....

Elliot, Rick, and Niel may get whacked again the way this storm is malingering and changing it's ways so frequently. I understand "IVAN" is not too far behind. Never a dull moment!

Hope Badger Dave got away as well. It was an adventure getting out of Fl.!

I was fortunate to get my family and myself to Anderson S. C. (sponging off kids and spoiling grandkids!).
