I stopped by Rock & Roll Custom Paintworks last Thursday after getting a referal from this forum.

They said that they could paint my 502 a solid color overlaid with a checkered flag for $2,800.00 and that it would take two weeks. I showed them a picture of the Voodoo Lounge BH on www.ebosshoss.com and they said that they could do it for $4,000.00 and that it would take four weeks.

The operations manager gave me a tour of the facility. They had a couple of hundred pre-painted tanks and side covers for Harleys in stock. They had guys in-house doing airbrush work. I saw three paint booths being used. Overal, it seemed like a quality operation.

My bike is being built at the factory tomorrow. I expect to have it here in California by the end of this month. The dealer is going to fit the body work to my exact bike (as recommened in this forum) and Rock & Roll Custom paint is going to start on the bike right away.

I went to the dealer yesterday. The stretched tank that they fabricated for me is done and looks great. The five spoke wheels have been chromed and so has the adapter for the wide wheel on the back. I plan to run the Avon 300 tire.

Things are starting to come together. I hope to be on the road by the middle of April...

Thanks for the up date on the paint store and sure sounds good. I plan on using them in the near future.
Will you be at the Laughlin River run? Would love to see your bike.

Rock & Roll said they would be there to display their work. I would love to go. I just have to arrange a baby sitter. I've got kids.

Anyway, no need to wait for Laughlin. As soon as the bike is done, I'll ride over and say hi...
