Mark _ I'm pretty sure it was solely built for show, not that it wouldn't move out. Somebody once said that there was $50,000 alone into the motor. It's way out of my league, I got to save weeks before getting chrome. Now being retired I look for the two for one chroming and clip the chroming coupns out of the paper!! hee hee
You are so right. I was in Daytona one and saw a $90,000 show bike that was on it's side, totally mess up the custom paint and bodywork. The owner ( who just bought it ) had slipped on gravel at 15mph and was one unhappy camper.
When it comes down to it, I want my bike or trike to look good but it's more important that it ride good.
