I noticed a disclaimer on the Boss Hoss order form that reads :

"Boss Hoss motorcycles contain some high quality reconditioned components that meet or exceed industry OEM standards."

Same thing on the trike order form.

I was just curious if anyone knew which parts that they use reconditioned.

Alternators, Carbs, Starters....?

As far as what the Factory has said is that the Transmission, Rear ends, rear brakes drums and backing plates, Axles on the Trikes are the only parts that are used. Those have been rebuilt to the specks of the factory. Of course tell some of the Trike owners that, and they will laugh with tranny failures, and axles twistings in the first 2000 miles.
