I've been driving around with this nasty Avon front tire and I didn't realize just how bad my bike was handling. :( I knew I had a good wobble at 85 but I did think I was working the bike as hard as I was in the turns. I put on a new Commander and torqued my steering head and it drives like a new bike :D The bike just falls into the turns now and no wobble up to 110 mph (I ran out of road) :D By the way it was 38 when I went on my ride but it got up to 42 :D It really wasn't that cold. You know, it's a dry cold ;)

How much air psi are you running in your rear tire. I changed to a car tire after the 1st Avon. I like it alot better but the psi is critical. I am only running a H70 225R, but 34 or 35 psi seems to work for me. Good to know you got a ride in. I am here in the Ecuador close to the Colombian Border. No R&R here. Take care.

PS Thanks for the temp banner.

Russel,
I've got a car tire on my Boss, too - first loved the comfortable ride
at only 25 psi, but I found out very soon that this low air pressure
results in a bad high speed wobble. Until then I ride the bike with
35psi (like you) and this works good for me, too.

Lamont, I need a new front tire for the next season, too. I've
just been on Michelin's site, and saw that there are two tyres in
this size availble. I've currently the MT 90 B16 71H on my Boss,
but I think about trying the reinforced tire (73H). Which tire
have you choosen? And is there anyone else on our board
who has experience with this reinforced tire from Michelin?

130/90-16 reinf. 73H TL/TT
MT 90 B16 71H TL/TT
