All;

Are any of you going to this "Leesburg Bikefest" (Florida)? It starts today, Apr. 22 and ends Sun. 24th.

I'm not personally familiar with it, but got a flyer @ Steve's Cycle in Cocoa, Fl. about a group ride from near the Space Center tommorrow, Apr. 23rd.

The ride gathers @ Falcons Roost on Merrit Island (near SR3, just north of SR520) and leaves there @ 06:30, then behind Burger King @ US1 and Garden Street in Titusville leaving there @ 07:30. It then goes to Leesburg via US1 to New Smyrna, then SR44 to Leesburg (44 miles).

The group ride will then return from Leesburg on SR 46 to Mims (46 miles) departing Leesburg @ 6 PM.

I spoke with the "Organizer" Beverly, and she said it's just a casual, fun ride, "taking the long way" to a neat bike fest. All bikes are welcome.

Here is 1 link to the Bike Fest itself;

Jack,

I went to that event last year and although it is much smaller than Daytona and not many vendors, the community is extremely biker friendly. I found it to be one of the best rallies I ever been to. The police are very accommodating, the price for motel rooms are fair to low rate and your treated like they appreciate you being there. I'd be going again this year if my bike was together (it's out for paint).

Have fun and tell us how it went.

Leesburg

Ricky;

Thanks, Looks like I may get a bit wet, but I'm gonna try it. I flew over Leesburg many times flying patients to G'ville Shands Hospital. Sure is a pretty part of the state.

Looking fwd to it more based on your comments, thanks. Hope you get your "skins" back soon and they are up to your expectations! Able to do anything with the oil pressure thing?

I'm able to run my Boss with the reserve tank, with the main removed. If that gives you any ideas about riding, don't sit on the battery and ruin some good trousers!

Actually Rick, don't know if it will fit your bike, but I will have a functional "spare" reserve tank in 3 or 4 weeks.

Ride Safe!
