OK Guys, here we go again. My wifes new trike is still on the lift so I can fix the blown flasher, bleed and adjust the brakes, and try to find a new air filter. While putting it all back together I noticed a puddle on the table of the lift. After searching to be sure of its origin, I found the whole housing of the water pump to be wet. I read the posts about the new water pumps avail., but mechanically how difficult to change?

Thanks in advance Rob :x

Rob,
I installed the new pump on my 98 and did not have to make any modifications at all. I needed to get longer bolts and that was it. Not a difficult change. So far it has worked without a problem. Hope this helps. Jim

I have been considering switching my water pump over to the new model. Could anyone comment about the sound this pump produces vs. the "old" pump style? I heard one the other day and it seemed a bit loud, but maybe it was just that particular one that was loud.
