There is a 98 boss on e-bay with 800 miles. This is not the first I have seen. Seems a lot of people buy em to say they have em. So come on guys.... What kind of miles do you do?? Glen.... We all know you are in a class of your own here... :biker:

I put just under 30,000 KM (22,000 miles) on my new 2004 SB this past summer. That was from about mid April to Oct 31, and I haven't been on it since. I need to live in a warmer climate. This is driving me crazy :cus:
2005 zz4.....165 miles....I hope to double that real SOOOON !!!!

I bought it with 2.500 miles on the speedo in the winter of 2002/2003 and have 10.000 miles on it now...did I said "it"? ..sorry..."her"

I picked mine up 12/28/04 (exactly on month ago) and have put approx 700 miles on it. I would have put more on it but I have a bad water pump and have been nursing it around trying to decide if the water was coming from the pump or elsewhere. The pump has been ordered.
The bike had about 5400 miles on it (it's a 2002 model) when I picked it up and now has about 6100.
We have better weather here so I can ride pretty much all I want. Oops, there you go Steve...that's another cold one! :lol:

Thanks Jack, yes and I read some of your other post about g.p.m. capacity. I'm told that this pump will do 32 g.p.m. If this is so, the engine should run a little cooler. In this cooler weather I've noticed that it typically runs from 180 to 205. At the higher temp. the fan kicks in full blast and the temp usually drops. This happens at red lights when the engine is at full operating temp. I don't have any idea what will happen when it gets into the heat of the summer.HogV8 said:

At the first rally we went to in seven springs, I looked at the Boss Hoss Speedo-s and a big bunch had less than 500 miles on them. With the new Speedo-s you can't see the mileage with out the key on but I bet they have few on them. On my two wheeler I put 30,000 in the first two years but my wreck stopped that short of my goal of 25,000 per year. I did get 25,000 last year but not all on a Boss.

Just over 111,000 miles on my 98. Would have been over 115k but skipped taking the Hoss to Biketoberfest this fall and instead took a 18 wheeler loaded with donated Hurricane Relief supplies to Ocala Fla. and only stopped briefly in Daytona with the Tractor.
BTW Tom, finally got the cert in from the fall run. Came in this week.

I have had my Trike for almost 5 weeks and have 1587 miles so far. And that's all local riding no trips yet. My fist trip will be to Daytona Bike week. And I might just ride to the Boss Hoss meet in TN. About the only time I use my SUV now is to go to Publix or Home Depot ( Large Loads ) other than that I ride my Trike.
