I bought Tom's ZZ4 Kannon, and I've been wondering how many V8 bikes are out there, aproximately. Specifically Boss Hosses and Kannons? Does anybody have some general numbers?
Up here in the Northwest, it seems like I have the only Kannon on the planet.
To get it started I'll make a guess:
Boss Hoss is making 100-150 bikes a year,
and Kannon made a total of 300 bikes before it went under.
Am I even close?
Thanks!

Pat,

I think it was last summer someone came up with the number of about 3500 for the BH since 1996, and that included kit bikes that may never have gotten finished. Stories have it that they produce around 300 to 350 per year, with their goal being 500 per year in the foreseeable future.

Might be interesting for someone who bought a late '03 2 wheeler to check their serial number, Wag & I got 2 of the first '03 bikes that were built in September of '02 just after the rollout in Sturgis. My number ends in 5062 & I think Wags' is 063.......Not sure how many of the numbers go into the demos, but I think there are 25 to 30 allocated for that. So who has the highest '03 serial number??
