I've been reading the thread on the install of a rear tire and the recommending that the rear tire be grooved on the avon. I have the stock avon and bought the tire groover but I'll be damned if I can find the post that showed the tire with the grooves in it. Anyone ...can ya help out this poor Norwegian!!! I want to do the extra cuts and have the # 5 blade Zenbiker recommends.. :) Yahooooooooeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Steve

Do it! Very easy and the difference in the rain is amazing. Also the rear tire which used to "sing" loudly according to riders behind me. doesn't do so anymore. Some people try the groover first on an old tire which might be a good idea but I just did it de novo and had no problem except tended to make it too shallow the first time which I corrected with a second pass of the groover.
