Subject: Frame Bolts

When I sent my frame to the factory it was bolted together with the
original eight frame bolts but they sent it back with cheap generic
hex head bolts which they powdercoated over (can't wait to try to
split the frame!) I want to replace them with stainless items. I
know stainless is generally only grade 2-3. Think these will be OK?
The kickstand side worries me a little because of the stress on
them. The alternative to regular Allens are the ARP grade small hex
head stainless bolts from South Coast Stainless which they claim are
15% stronger than grade 8. What are y'all using and what do you
think?...Joe

Hey, Joe- you accidently copied and pasted the entire internet...hehehehe..

Have just been out in the garage, and looked what kind of frame bolts I have. They are regular SS Allens. But a set of nice, polished ARP stainless
bolts with a little extra strength sure can't hurt...
