The first actual Spring weather day in NJ. I actually cut out of work early to ride. Was 70 degrees and sunny. The beast runs smoothly and is fast as hell although I seldom got on the secondaries. Just cruised at 80-90 mph for about 100 miles, traffic was light at 2 PM on the interstates.
What a goddamn joy this 2 hour ride was. The engine humming and loafing under me and the instant power whenever needed; I don't have to explain. A Ninja blew by me coming into an entrance ramp and was probably doing 120 mph....who cares?
I just love this bike and experience. Has it's own special appeal and if you don't understand then maybe the Boss is not for you...Joe
