Remember though they had been running close to 100 mph and being tracked by this a/c before the kid nailed it. Don't know what an RC51 can run, but I would think unless he had a fair amount of mods 200+ would be a stretch.

I have to agree with the guy in the CNN article in that the trooper in the sky had an itchy trigger finger. If you think about it, that's a piss poor way to get clocked. I'd like to have seen a radar readout to compare it to.
