Had a perfect day here in NC for bike riding so myself and 3 other guys from work knocked out a 300 mile rountrip today. Went down to the coast and dropped in at http://www.brittcustommetrix.com/ to look at some of these bikes. A co-worker is eyeballing one. Pretty cool stuff and most of their customs are less than $20K.
Anyway, We stopped fairly often (smoke breaks for some, mainly for gas for me) and of course Hooters for lunch. People were falling all over the Boss and my buddies might as well been riding 10 speeds. One guy has a sweet Vrod and nada.
I started feeling a little guilty. They took it stride and I really think they are getting used to it. I even had a guy tear off part of his check stub to write down his email address for me to send him a picture of the Boss to show his son. Had a guy yesterday (I think he was hitting the sauce) jump up and down (literally) screaming at a car behind me at the pump that I had a 502 big block. The guy was starting to make me nervous. I laughed my tail off when i pulled away. You would have to if you could have seen him carrying on. Just reminded me of how cool these things are. Traded off to ride a Honda ST-1300 for a while and couldn't wait till the next stop to get my Boss back. Nothing else will do.
