Directionals

I want to change to some custom directionals as I know many of you have. Whats a good choice that's reasonably priced that can be used as a directional and running lights and are a direct replacement and don't require an equalizer or anything like that.

Jack,

Take a look at Kuryakyn........their bullet LEDs are very small, but VERY bright. Have seen them on several BHs' and they look good. Not cheap though, about a $100 a pair. Also see a lot of dealers putting Deuce lights on them and they look good. I think you can find take-offs a swap meet reasonable.

Hey Jack,

I put the duece style on mine over the winter. Got them from a local bike shop. They were about $35 per and are bright. Simple to wire.

Bill
Thanks Guys, I found the Duece style lights in the Dennis Kirk catalog and I like them. They also have a nice trim or bezel ring to fit them . Bill , did you have to use a spacer between the lights and the mount ? It's hard to tell by the picture if one would be needed or not .
Jack,

I did not use any spacer. The lights have a standoff type of mount which worked well. You will need to get the ones that have the wire coming out of the housing and not the mount. My bike is an 01 and if I remember your's is a 2000. May mount a little different in the rear but I don't think so.

Bill
Thanks Bill , I ordered the one that have the wires coming out thru the housing so I should be OK. Did you get the deep dish Bezels and lenses for yours made by Kuryakyn ?
Hey Jack,

Yes I did and they look great. One of these days when I get the time I will post some pics. I have an antique pc at home and when I send pics it ties it up for an hour. I am going to install a program on my work pc and then will be better able to post the pics.
