Ya Tim ,

I've been there dozens of times . It was called Brewsters for quite a while . What time does the Boss Hoss nite start or what time is everyone meeting there ?

Hmmm....El, the more I look to your Kannon Chopper pic, the more I like it, the more I would like to have it!...
Did Wolfgang called you? I gave him your number yesterday.

If someone of you spot this guy during the bike week (down in the picture), then please stop him, and send him greetings from Olaf. He's a friend of mine, and is in Daytona every year with his 93' Boss Hoss. He's a very, very nice and funny guy, a real Boss Hoss enthusiast, and holds the German "Boss Hoss ridden miles" record (78.000 miles on his clutch Boss). His name is Uwe, and you can easy identify him by his stainless cup...hehehe...he carrys it all the time and there's usually Whiskey/Cola in it :beer2:

Olaf,

Never did hear from Wolfgang. If he calls and is in the area, I'll invite him over. We can put a wrench in his hands. Trying like hell to get one chopper (currently completely apart), and 2 Boss Hosses back together by this Friday for Daytona.

We have Gary's chopper tranny out trying to put some Coan C4 parts in it but it's requiring quite a bit of machining. Also had to take the blower back off but that's back on. Having a front brake issue that will hopefully be solveable also.

Doug's smallblock just got some killer Motown heads, new offset rockers, and a retuned 300 hp nitrous system. At the very last minute he decided to tear the piece of **** BH wire harness complete out and is rewiring the whole bike. We find it unbelieveable that BH, Inc could use such **** wiring, fuseblocks, etc.

Lastly, we're (Gary) building a new Mountain style bigblock with Charlie's old wreck that crashed and burned. It's going to Norway after Daytona.

Luckily, mine is together and only needing spit and polish. If Wolfgang hears all this he's liable not to call or come over, hee hee.

I'll be looking for Uwe in Daytona. Sure wish you could come.

Was his Boss black and kinda a rat bike with a big rear tire? I think it might of had leather saddle bags too.

Hey Jack,

How's the weather been?? Doesn't look as bad as in past years. Looks like it is supposed to warm into the middle to upper 70's next week 8)

One thing about rain and 65, you can still sit in front of your hotel room and have a beer

It was a whopping 60 degrees here Sunday, we were riding like it was the middle of June...........damned dumb yankees living here in the northwoods

Found anythong you need to buy??? How about that quick-turn throttle??
How about pic of the bikes and naked women???

Hey Tim,

The weather has been OK until yesterday it rained all day so we did the Main St. thing . Bar hopped from one bar to another . Weather looks good from now on . Going to the Ironhorse area today .

Boss is running like a champ . I ordered the quick throttle but won't put it on till I get back home . I'm not sure I'm going to like it though because it is a complete seperate throttle housing and sets outside of the stock housing . Doesn't really look all that great but should get the job done .

First Turn

First Turn Rain Out;

Well, I was gonna take a "Rain Out", but just couldn't stand it.

I comprised exactly 1/3 of the Boss's there. Sure was a cold rain too, you all may have been the smartest, but I cain't let a little rain stop me.

Had a bit of extra cleaning to do today, but for a good cause.

Ride Safe.

Hope to see you all Fri @ Shunshine!

Jack,

If you decide to put it on when you get home, maybe post a snapshot.

Have you had a chance to see the "cruiser" that Mtn Boss Hoss brought down?? Kinda curious (very curious) to see how it handled with the rake and stretched tubes.

Hope the weather turns good for the rest of your trip. Say "Hi" to Cheryl for us  Ride careful.

Jack,
that's nice to hear! Hehehe...can't wait to see the pic, and to hear what he
will tell me when he's back. Hehehehe.....

Oh, and was there a gray, long haired, bearded guy with him? He's from Switzerland, and his name is Claudio. He just sold his SB Boss Hoss over here, and bought a 502 in Daytona. Damn - wish I could be there, too....
