I don't have the ones from my friend in NC so I made some for a temp fix but Cozaey likes them so well I may just leave them alone. Use some 16 gauge S/S mirror finish and side molding.

Looks great Adrian! Not sure when I can get around to doing something like that on ours. Too darn many other projects!
Adrian,

Look great. Could you send me details on how you made them. Mine look like crap the way they are done with the black mat stuff.

Thanks,
Bill
Hi Bill

Don't have your e-mail so I will say it here. I used some cardboard and
made a template that fit the area, then used my plasma cuter to cut
out the 16 gauge (Stainless Steel mirror finish). It would be easier with
18 gauge but all I had was the 16 gauge. I got the side molding material
at the paint store, some 2 sided tape and chrome door edge one sided
flat chrome strips. From there it is easy and does look good plus allows
good protection.

Thanks Adrian,

I will give it a shot. I like the look.

You should be able to buy some at almost any metal store. Look in the yellow pages and give them a call.

Elvis:

I bought the mirror stainless from McMaster Carr out of Chicago, which
is a mail order industrial house. Check them out on-line as they have
all sorts of stainless, plate, tube, ect.

Adrain, yours look great .you can't tell by looking at my pix but mine are diamond plate rounded at the edges and screwed on from the dealer.
Now I'm looking at a 500. paint repair. My trike was painted by cris cruse
in deland fla. he said the diamond plate caused the clear coat to crack
going up the wheel well and a big patch of clear blew off. I just wanted to tell you did it the right way. you really should think about making them
for a price for your boss trike bros. tom
