Hi All,

Out for a few days but have access to internet for a few minutes. Anyone have handy the Summit Racing part # for chrome alternator for the BH? Mine's been having surges, plus the chrome is peeling. I can get it from home but thought I would order now and install when I get back. Hate to lose these nice riding days.

Thanks much.

I just installed a 140-amp Summit alternator from summitracing.
part # SUM-810350
Now I have plenty of juice to run all my lights during funeral escort.
$131 delivered to the house.

Tom;

I like the Alternator in your link much better because of the "Shield" behind the Pulley.

Appears it will keep a direct shot of water out of the works.

Will the Serpentine Belt kit Pulley work on about any of them?

I think the serpentine belt needs the plate on the front of the alternator to keep from tearing up the wider belt. I know when the car manufacturers went to the serpentine belt they went to the plate on the front of the alternator.
