OK, first right guesss wins.

I come back form a week at the beach, bike runs fine all week. Pull it off the trailer to wash it off when I get home and A) idles at about 1200 rpm (usually around 850), B) running rough. Plug boots secure at plug end, who wants to hazard a guess?

Bound to be something simple, carb recently serviced as back 2 barrels were not opening. Standard Edelbrock, no choke. Standard factory ignition and fuel pump.

Won't have time to work on it until later in the week.

Hi Steve, My guess would be the Tie-Wrap broke off or slipped off of the choke linkage. Allowing the choke to close. This will drop in the fast idleing cam (reason for the fast idle.) a two closeing the choke richens the mixture.

If you run the carb. This way on purpose. Then the choke pull off is not working right. (Either the vacuum pod is bad, or the hose came off.)

What do I win if I'm right? Hee Hee
