I hope I am not jinxing myself with this post, I have made it to the West Coast with the Hoss so far without too much problems. Only tightened alt belt and my solonoid for my tranny acted up once and I believe it was a weak electrical connection. I am out here visiting Tommy Chadwell (who is very patiently awaiting his painted parts back) He has much more patience than I have.

Hey, Glenn..I've taken several very long trips on my 2000 small block and have had only small, pain in the ass problems. Keep the faith and don't be concerned with the reliability despite the complaints here.
The trips I've taken have been several thousands of miles each. I had far more problems with my Harley over long distances and I've come to trust the Boss much more....Joe
