Batteries

Any of you guys that have gone to the smaller battery or a different battery....have you put a spacer in so that the seat still rests on the battery? I am assuming that the stock battery is used as a resst for the seat with those 2 rubber stoppers under the seat pan....

I am asking becasue the new 2004 that I recieved Friday had a leak at the terminal and I need to replace it...BUT....guess what?...I can't buy that battery in Canada....have to check around for sizes and also drains that can be hooked to a tube to find a battery that works.
