Hey hey, Dave! Good to hear from ya, man. Glad you stopped in. My bike is doing good. A quirck (sp) here and there but I'm loving it. I actually bought it from the dealer in Houston. His name is David Chessir and from from I can tell is a real good guy. He's got a nice showroom. Only thing i can tell you about Houston is stay the heck away during rush hour. My good Lord. It was a whole lot of traffic for a small town boy like myself. I, like you, hope to make to the rally next year, too.

Hi Dave

Man we were getting a little worried about you and I know Geezer was all shook up that you didn't show up to help him with the bill.
I got my Boss Hoss from the dealer in Houston and he is a good guy. His name is David so he must be a good guy.
I got 2 new bikes one being a long range cruiser and the other as a looker but still runs respectable, Gold Wing and a Rune. The Rune gets a lot of looks and is a great Bike.

Hi Badger, Glad to see your back. Sorry you didn't make the Rally. Geezer was lost,----He stayed out too late in the bars almost every night.

I still have those correctly slotted Air Valves to send you. Also I've gone deeper into the books and have another Carb. done up for a guy in Florida. A real fire breathing #1901 Q-Jet. Passages drilled and different Secondary Rods.

Just waiting for him to make a post. He went on Vacation for 6 weeks. He must be having too much fun.

Thanks Chris......I lived north of Houston in Sring Tx. for 12 years so I know alot of the Back roads...I've got 3 ex-wives in that area also (Hope they don't recognize me on the Boss)
I'll stop in and see David when I get there,it will be about time for a tranny oil change anyway...Glad you like the 502....I might end up with one in a couple months....

Hi mike.....Since you did my carb and I changed cams and converter my bike runs real good.....I swear that in 8 1/2 months I have not even had the seat pan or a side cover off.(knock on wood!!)
From 35 mph just back off the throttle and rap on it and it will light the tire with no problem.
When I get settled in in Tx. I'll call you and get the slottlet stuff sent down.
I guess I need to make the next Rally so I can keep Geezer out of trouble..huh...
I heard it might be In Dyersburg at the Factory....Sounds good to me

Later....Dave

Boss Hoss in Houston

Hi Badger;
You should be well served by David Chesser. He was kind enough to change seats on a new Boss @ Bike Week, and take my wife for a ride. He offered me to take her, but I felt more comfortable with an experienced Boss pilot, especially in that TRAFFIC! He and his associate then cleaned my scoot before the appraisor looked @ it the get me the best (and a very fair) offer. I still couldn't afford a new one, but their efforts (indicative of the whole Boss Hoss community I have experienced) paved the way for me to get the used Boss I have. Say Hi (and THANKS) for me when you see him.
