Got any guess as to how many V8Bikes and trikes we will have for our ride on Friday? Maybe we could set some sort of Boss Hoss record that the factory might put in their Magazine. 8) Has anyone contacted the factory about this or whoever runs the Magazine?

I'll be there....assuming Daytona B.H. gets through with my bike by that time. My appointment is for 8:00 a.m. They said it would not take more than a couple of hours.

Chad Osborne, the Boss Hoss Country Magazine Editor, and I have spoken as recently as yesterday about our ride. He is really jealous that he won't be able to make it to Daytona! He and Jackie, "J on the Spot", have also been talking about various picture ideas since Jackie is the offiicial Boss Hoss and BHRA photographer. We are currently looking for a person to take video of our group taking a lap down Main Street with tens of thousands of people losing their minds at what they are seeing and hearing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had 30 vinyl (outdoor) posters made up with all the details of the "V8 Motorcycle Run". We will be putting these signs up at all the Boss Hoss Dealers as well as any other V8 motorcycle dealers. The factory will be also have our signs up for all to see about the run. Rad Hunsley and I have traded emails about the run and he has been very supportive.

Please help us get the word out. My guess is 48 bikes/trikes on the ride.

I'm leaving one day too early but I'll guess 33. I've been known to do anything to win a bet so if it looks like I might win by staying one day extra that might happen. I'm only booked through the 10th. I'm loaded and ready to go. Leaving tomorrow morning. Lot's of snow here and can't wait to leave. Heading out about 5AM. See some of you at Chops on Friday at 3PM. Everyone have a safe trip.

Those are impressive numbers you guys are guessing I hope there are way more than what I guessed. Looks like I'll be drinking free beer!

Ricky, I see the temperature here is the same as Florida!! I hope it warms up a bit or I'll be disappointed. That's a long way for us to go to end up with the same weather. 85 or 90 would be just right.

All the snow is gone here now and there are bikes out all over the place. Mine is now in Orlando waiting for us to arrive. We are going to try and catch a flight on Sunday, March 6, but if we get bumped it will be Wednesday the 9th. Flying on a standby basis is a bit risky, but we'll get there sooner or later.

And yes, we're excited!! I could hardly sleep last night thinking about it.

This work stuff keeps getting in the way of activities... :evil: Oh well...I guess I may be passing some of you on your way back from Daytona, as we are heading out on the Boss for Key West on the night of March 13. I hope you guys have a BLAST in Daytona, and remember those of us that are not going to be able to make it...

I will be looking for you Bryan! We (cousin on a BMW1200 and I) plan on leaving on the morning of the 14th, at or about 2am (so we can get through Atlanta before rush hour), and plan on riding about 16 hours to see how far south we can get on the 14th, then on to the Keys on the 15th. I will definately be on the lookout for you and your Boss!
