Lamont, I like your trans. cooler, air box and battery set up. I know you didn't ask but here's a picture of my trans. cooler , PC680 battery and leather tool box I had made.

That looks like a pretty good size fan. We'll have to compare notes in Daytona. ;)
I have the fan wired up to a thermostat to come on at 180 degrees and it is a 950 CFM pusher. When it does come on it actually lifts the back of the bike slightly . Just kidding , ya we will have to compare notes.

I need a thermostat swicth that I can thread into the bottom of my pan. I'm going to drop the pan and tap some holes so I can put my trans temp sending unit in the pan and I thought that would be a good time to do the same for the fan. Right now I have the fan on a swicth and I know I run it more than it needs to be. Got a part number for a sending unit that I can thread into the pan? 180 would be fine.
I use a PAINLESS Brand sold buy Summit # PRF-30111 and they say it turns the fan on at 185 and off at 170 . I found that it actually turns the fan on a about 180 and off at about 165.

Thanks Bro. Got one headed my way. :D
Thanks for the pics, Lamont. I installed mine the same way as yours. I had a piece of stiff rubber hose that fit the gap perfectly and battery is snug.

I also got my ST80 solenoid wired up (Thanks, Neil!) and my voltmeter is showing 14+ on it. That is something I had never seen. I wired it just like Neil suggested with #8 wire and completely took the factory set up out.

See ya'll in a couple of weeks.

Chris
