Hi fellows, I just picked up a 92 Boss Hogg from a fellow here in Washington that has not had too much done with it as of yet. I'm a bit intimidated working on something without a manual of any sort so I'm wondering if anybody knows where I can get one? And also I'm wondering can the rear chain be adjusted without lifting the bike off the ground? It seems like it would put a lot of stress on the Adjusters. And also what size or type of lift is recommended? Thanks to all

Steven,

You can contact the Boss Hoss factory
in Dyersburg, Tn.
Justin is the parts person. He does a good job!
I will bet he can arrange to sell a manual to you,
UNLESS there is someone on here that can duplicate
an early manual, and just send it to you........
Where do you live?
I live 4.5 miles from the Boss Hoss factory.

I would begin to gather the parts needed to convert to the later belt drive setup. Much nicer than the chain and better looking IMHO. The stuff comes up, for sale, fairly often as many bikes have been converted to trikes. I've never seen a pillow block setup, in person, but I'm sure you can adjust the chain without jacking the bike up.
