I'm going to be installing the #7 torque converter and high performance clutch plates I got from Chopper City. Are there any other upgrades I should do to it as long as I have it out? I've read about a reverse upgrade, although mine works fine as it is...

I believe the gearset was upgraded since the 2000 model tranny.

Elliott from this board should have all the latest info. Be patient as
many fellow board members are away from their puters and at Daytona.

George...There is definitely a heavy duty gearset and clutch material upgrade for the 2000 which I had done by Nesco. They are very good woth turnaround time and I got the tranny back from them 2 weeks after it left my dealer. I forgot the price but was under $300 at the time. Has been perfect for abot 13, 000 miles. Now that it's out, I'd have it done...Joe

They also have a reverse servo piston upgrade which I replaced in my 2000 .

Have you made Daytona yet?

If so, maybe I can pick up the Pingle @ Sunshine Mall where LaMont is set up, or the 5 PM gathering @ chops Wednesday or the big ride Friday from Sunshine Mall.

Let me know what's best for you. Got to meet some of the Boss folks @ chops last night. Quite an experience. The only novelty I had to offer was folks wondering what the clutch actuator was on my scoot.

God there is some beautiful scoots there, neat people as well!

Yes I'm here in Daytona and have just been cruising around . Went to Chops Sunday at 4: 00 and I was the only Boss there . I wiill be at the Boss Hoss nite at the First turn bar Wed. nite but I haven't heard what time everyone is going to be there . If we don't hook up I will be at Sunshine mall friday for the big ride . I will be checking in at Chops no and then at 4:00 - 5;00 to see if anyone is there .
