    Default kannon

    Hi new to this sight have a new to me kannon i drove goldwings for years and work on bikes . i have 2 questions first at slow speed i get a lot of movement in the handle bars which unnerves me .i have thought about a steering shock or tightening brgs at fork does anyone have any answers. Second question does anyone make a trike kit. I am 72 and weigh 160 lbs and bike is a handfull for me but would be ok if i do something with steering many thanks dale lambeth lambeth auto repair carthage mo

    Being as Kannon never made a trike, Parts to do
    a conversion are not out there. You could build
    your own trike conversion along the lines of
    how BH does it. No drive shaft just a U joint
    between trans and rear. Pivit point of the swing
    arm must must line up at the U joint or much
    trouble you will have.

    Do the risers have soft rubber bushings? If so change to the hard plastic ones. Similar to shock absorber bushings. You will feel things more thru grips but not as bad as solid mounts. Lock tite for sure tho. I have had them vibrate loose.
    This is assuming neck bearings are in good shape and tight enough.
