    Default odometer reset

    Hi Guys
    I have just acquired a 2001 small block boss hoss. {UK}

    My question is this : The speedo has an odometer but no visible means to reset it to zero so I can determine when I need to refuel.
    There is no boss hoss logo on the speedometer but looking at other similar aged bikes they don't have boss hoss logos on either.
    No fuel gauge fitted on my model there is a time clock instead
    Head scratching problems !!!!

    Anybody help please

    My Kannon never had a gas gauge. I just keep track of the mileage and start looking for a Gas Station at 160 miles.
    When it gets to 180 miles, it may run out, but I flip the petcock to reserve and have another 15 miles.
    Big block Boss Hoss bikes have a tow hitch so you can take a 55 gallon drum trailer along with you...

    .... which should take you another 55 miles or so!

    Not riding for seven days makes one weak!

    Is the speedo stil a mecanical one? Or is it electronic?
    You find out by looking at the froint wheel, is there a pickup on the left side?

    The mecanical speedo has a turn knob (I don't know how to name it...) it sticks out at the right side of the dash panel. It's fully mecanical too, you just turn it, that's all.
    If that is missing, you will find a hole at the right side of the dash board.
