Looks like a decent trike and the price doesn't sound out of line, either. Buy it for $20K and have a nice ride.

Clint..you are right...$20,000 for this tops because I know where there is a low mileage 2004 Coupe for $25,000 in the US

Can't tell what front wheel it has now but it still has the old-style seat (albeit re-upholstered) Probably still has the old-style fuse box & wiring.
    Check out the handlebar risers.

I wouldn't mind having it to play around with.

Robin, yes I have purchased the Corvette body trike that I was pursuing for a while.

I have had a few conversations over the last month with the seller of this 'vette trike in TX. It is being sold by "a friend of the owner" and it is sometimes difficult to get the specifics of the condition and maintenance history. The owner has owned the trike since new. The updates in 2006 were for the inverted forks. I was told the fuse panel was also replaced. The body was also replaced in 2006 due to being hit in a rear-end accident. The seat was recovered in an Ostrich pattern material. Surface corrosion on the frame and other bolt-on components and the condition of chrome is in average to fair condition and reflects the environment common to Houston or most anywhere that high humidity and coastal climate are the prevailing weather conditions.

While the paint is certainly unique, it was done to the taste of the owner. The scheme combines Native American, Fantasy, and Seascape images. IMO I do not think that a new owner will appreciate it to the same level and will most likely repaint it immediately!

The trike is owned by a disabled Vet and has been in storage and unused for the last year.
Initially I was very interested in this trike until I got the photos and backstory.
I have numerous photos (poor quality) that further show the condition of the trike if anyone is interested.
I am told that the owner initially wanted to ask in the high $20's for the trike. The seller priced the trike at $22k. He also told me that the owner is waffling on selling or keeping the trike (even though he does not ride any longer) because he is emotionally attached to it.
The seller tells me that the owner is firm on his price, but you never know- cash talks.....

    Default Only Child?

I don't know if you were talking about me Clint but mine seems perfectly content being an only child. He has three step brothers, a BB t-bucket, Harley Ulta-Classic trike and '34 Ford Coupe.

I was referring to Jack Delelys. Just imagine what he could do with a trike.
